I’m sure that you won’t, but don’t forget to take a moment to meditate upon each mystery of each decade of the rosary for the particular day. When I was teaching the 3rd grade CCD class, it was my task to have memorize the mysteries & decades of the Rosary. I took it step further and encouraged them to meditate or in as a 3rd grader could grasp, “think,” about what they were saying meant and try to understand it, to take their time and let the grace of the Rosary surround them. Within 2 weeks our parish priest came to me with a smile on his face to tell me he had several complaints from parents who didn’t like the way I was teaching their children to pray. He said he asked them if they had ever taken the time to even consider the words of the prayers they had memorized and if not then why do they bother to say them at all? He told me not to worry and to carry on. By the end of the school year, each child had memorized the Mysteries & Decades and also was able to tell me what grace meant & if they had felt grace while praying & they all said they experienced a wonderful calm feeling when they slowed down & thought about what they were praying & I reassured them that they indeed had experienced grace. I hope your journey is filled with abundant grace, my dear friend.
The following endorsement is a personal one involving my mother's cousin, who is one of the most awesome people I know.
